The Folio Society, 1964. Hardcover. Good. 1964. No Edition Remarks. 322 pages. No dust jacket, Folio edition with slipcase. Blue cloth with gilt. Cream slipcase included. Contains in-text monochromatic illustrations throughout. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Plates are bright and clear. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Moderate tanning to spine. Slipcase has light edge-wear with minor marking to panels. Damp staining to some panels.
