About This Item
1907 Walter Scott/Charles Scribners, first edition/1st printing
A rather shabby and worn hardcover with LOTS of foxing to endpapers and preliminary pages. Textblock pages are largely free of foxing but for a few sporadic pages.
Pages are age toned
Though the binding is intact it is weak as shown by the last two photos above.
The bookplate of noted mathematician and dean of the graduate school of the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Charles S. Slichter, is affixed to the front endpaper.
No underlining, highlighting or notes.
