About This Item

Said to be probably the best book ever written on the history of the American legal profession. Even though it is published by a well-regarded academic press, the book is virtually unknown, particularly among people in legal education. It is very unfortunate that it is now so difficult to find except in inferior condition. This copy is near fine BUT with graduate's name on front blank end page.and one corner bump.. Dust jacket is sunned and has a minor nick at two corners
