Yellow hardcover cloth binding has illustration on front of children and spinning wheel in blue and black has soiled spine and very lightly soiled covers, square and tight. Hinges good - front hinge just barely starting to crack but binding integrity is good and tight. Light soiling to some pages but overall clean. Name with date 1903 on ffep. 3rd edition July 1900. 1st edition was November 1899, 2nd February 1900. There are four glossy plates of drawings by children. The three lectures presented in the book were delivered before an audience of parents and others interested in the University Elementary School in 1899. 129 pages.. Illus. by Illustrated. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Hardcover. Near Very Good/No Jacket.
