London: John Lane The Bodley Head, 1896. Book. Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. First edition of the author's second separate book. Blanchard A4. Buff pictorial cloth stamped in brown; brown cloth spine decorated in gilt. Top edge brown, others untrimmed. Mildest rubbing to cover, which remains very bright and clean. Otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Very neat -- a sound and handsome copy of this beautifully published volume, scarce in this fine condition. .
