Cooke and Co., 1826. 12mo, half calf stamped in gilt with title and double rules, with printed tan paper over boards., vi, 168pp, 68 copper engravings. Comprehensive survey of agriculture, manufacturing, and trades in the early nineteenth century. Sixty-eight copper-plate engravings, three to a page, illustrate occupations including silk making, salt, oysters, brewing, hat-making, pottery, paper-making, etc. Good, spine rubbed, head of spine chipped, variegated stains to front and back cover, still a decent copy.
