World Publishing Company haard cover with dust jacket, first printing Nov. 1945 (stated), #T-363, 328 pages. 8vo (5.5"" x 8"") This is the 5th Philo Vance novel, first published in 1929 and filmed in 1936 with Wilfrid Hyde-White as Vance.
