12mo. 7 1/2" by 5 1/4". 248pp. Second Edition. Very good book in very good minus dust jacket. Dark blue cloth covered boards with gilt-stamped lettering and graphics on spine. Scuffs along outermost edges at head and tail of board spine but not quite fraying. Tiny rub-throughs on fore-edge corner tips. Board panels and spine folds are lightly scuffed in general. External page edges are age-darkened and a bit soiled. Previous owner's bookplate on front paste-down. Shadow transfers on end-papers. Text pages are age-toned. Internally clean with no marks or tears. Text block is sound.

Dust jacket is soiled overall, heavier on the folds and back panel is very smudged. Jacket spine and fore-edge folds are sunned. Losses across width and corners at head and tail of jacket spine, as well as adjacent edges. Lower right corner of front panel has a 2" closed vertical tear along the fore-edge fold and with adjacent loss on the lower fore-edge corner; upper left corner of front panel has a 1 1/4" slightly diagonal closed tear from the front corner at head of spine. Lower edge of back jacket panel has three closed vertical tears of 3/8", 1/2", and 5/8". Upper edge of back panel has two closed vertical tears, each 1/4". Upper right fore-edge corner of front panel has loss of 1/4" and an adjacent closed vertical tear of 1/4" along the fore-edge fold. Both back fore-edge corners are rubbed and with a small amount of loss. Inside front flap has a 1" closed diagonal tear in the center of the lower edge. Upper and lower edges of front and back panel have numerous tiny chips. Flaps are not clipped, price of "7/6net" is on spine.
