"One of the few works published on frontier medicine, Sohn studied both the practice of medicine at the sixteen military installations in the Great Basin and how military medicine affected surrounding civilians and Indians. Published as part of the History of Medicine program at the University of Nevada." - Clark & Brunet 266.
