The author opened the US Consulate in Dhahran in 1944 and was still in Saudi Arabia when he finished his ambassadorship in 1965. He played a critical part in building the US-Saudi security relationship. This book of his provided fresh insights into early Sauei-US diplomatic relations from FDG to LBJ. This book also offers perspectives on politically sensitive current issues and security of the vast Saudi oil reserves. A clean very presentable copy.
