Catalog for Christie's South Kensington Tuesday 21 November 1995 sale, COR-7044. 50 pages containing 228 lots, illustrated with monochrome and color photographs, as well as 116 vignette monochrome photographs of makers marks. Each lot has a brief text description and a notation identifying the numbered photograph which it describes. Auction estimates provided in pounds Sterling. "Satsuma pottery was made in, or around Kagoshima in Kyushu, Japan in the later part of the 19th century, through to the early 1920's in Satsuma in southern Japan". No previous ownership marks. A clean, tight, non-creased and unmarked copy. Fine. .
