Two folding maps in original folds and without tears. Inked notations to bfep, prev owner name inked to ffep. Green cloth w gold lettering to cover and spine. No edgewear. Mild sunning to head due to chip in DJ. Mapped DJ is clean, showing loss to head, now preserved in mylar cover. Small octavo: 197 x 142mm. First published in 1875, this is the first Hurtig edition, 1969, stated, with a new introduction by L.G. Thomas, and published in conjunction with the Charles E, Tuttle Company (VT)
