About This Item
Tokyo: Japan-Bharat Sarvodaya Mitrata Sanga, 1982. Paperback. 64p., illustrated in b&w photography showing shrines and gatherings, softbound in 8.5x5.5 inch decorated wraps; first printing of this translation into English by Yumiko Miyazaki. A near-new copy: pace faintest signs of handling, item is entirely sound, clean and unmarked. The word sarvodaya means cultural improvement equally, for all classes of people. The basic practice is to chant the medieval Buddhist verse popularized in the West by Daisaku Ikeda (eventually scandalized out of office). Fujii, less well-publicized, may not have overreached as Ikeda did.
