London: Hutchinson's Books for Young Folks. Very Good-. 1947. Second Edition. Hardcover. 53 p. 18 x 23 cm. Bound in green in cloth-covered boards. Front inner hinge is cracked and book is a little loose. Minor wear and soil to the boards. Spine a little faded. Preliminary and ending pages have foxing, with a bit to the endpapers and a few pages also. Previous owner's name on the front free endpaper. Otherwise clean overall. The story of Sandy the Squirrel and his friends. Illustrated with colour plates and pen and ink drawings by English artist Helen Haywood. .
