About This Item
Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada: Page Printing and Binding. Good with no dust jacket. 1921. First Edition. Paperback. 123 pp. With preface by J.H. Hunter. Creamy card covers with green and red are a bit grubby, spine just starting to split at top and bottom joints. Interior staples are a little rusty, some minor foxing and aging throughout, two pages have small squares at the head of two lines -- whether these were printed or added by a reader later for some reason we can't tell. A very scarce fictional book written by Rev. McEwen who was a Canadian divine and missionary who spent much time in Brazil -- the story starts in Canada and moves to warmer climes. ; 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall; 123 pages .
