Although not a biography in the conventional sense, the book starts with Sandberg's immigrant Swedish parents, who settled in Illinois, where he was born, and ends with the white haired patriarch living quietly on a North Carolina mountainside farm. Accompanying the photographs are selections from some of Carl Sandburg's books and comments. (from the front jacket flap) ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 113 pages .
