NY: D. Appleton-Century. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1939. Hardcover. Publisher's gilt-titled two-toned cloth hardcover with front label, illustrated endpages. 10th printing. Wear to spine, extremities toned, front hinge cracked but holding. Signed by Dobie and inscribed/signed by illustrator Suydam to the half title page. Laid in is an autograph letter signed by Suydam dated 5 June 1934 from the Hotel Acacia, Los Angeles, in envelope. ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 440 pages .
