About This Item

Lincoln, NE: Bison Book, 1969 A Bison Book, Lincoln, NE. 1969. Softcover/Trade Wraps. First Printing. Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for former owner address stamps on front and rear wrap inner surface. Book Condition: VG+; fold on the corner of the front wrap; crease in the spine; rubbing to edges. No DJ. Pictorial Wraps. 262 pp. In addition to being the subject of a western ballad, Sam Bass had done a lot of bad things in his 27 years on earth. He had been a cowboy, a gambler, a highwayman, and a train robber, before he met his fate at Round Rock, TX. His coups were many; his fame legendary. The strangest thing of all is that he never killed a man until that last gunfight. A clean and very presentable with the map present in front.
