NY: De Witt C. Lent and Company, 1872. Octavo. viii, 526 pp; 52 original designs from contemporary American artists. Original rust cloth with gilt-lettered spine, gilt & black lettering on cover. VG minus, a clean, unmarked copy, binding split in middle but held in place by the stitching. Cover has black ink thumbprint at fore edge, top & bottom of spine lightly frayed with small chips, bottom edge has small split at corner, covers lightly soiled overall.. Hard Cover. Very Good.
