Oblong 4to, 32pp. Brown quarter-cloth stamped in gold with beige boards pictorially stamped in brown. Blue endpapers; color illustrations on every page. Spine ends a tad rubbed, else a fine copy in original color pictorial dust jacket (slight edge wear, medal affixed). Signed by the artist, Caldecott Medalist Trina Schart Hyman and dated the year it won the Caldecott.
First edition. 1985 Caldecott Medal Winner! The tale of Saint George, the Red Cross Knight, slaying the dragon that had been terrorizing the countryside for years.
