In black cloth covered boards with gilt titles on spine. x, 128pp, with numerous illustrations, plans, drawings and diagrams. Short 4to. Cloth is heavily mottled in margins, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Small dark mark on front free endpaper else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A volume which aims to enable those already familiar with the subject to identify different sorts of rigging and to place on the record an example of each rig in the form of an authentic sail plan.
