Front flap of dust jacket was cut out and is laid in, along with jacket illustration, a reproduction of Gericault's painting, "The Raft of the Medusa." Light-to-moderate rubbing to cover extremities. Spine moderately sunned. Boards moderately soiled. Single narrow, short insect bore to fore edge page block. Some discoloration to endpapers due to ageing glue. Interior otherwise clean, tight, and unworn.
