Boston: Meador Publishing Company, 1938. First Edition in original publisher's blue-green pebbled cloth stamped in gilt. SIGNED BY AUTHOR JOHN M. MITCHELL and dated May 22, 1938 on the front flyleaf. The flyleaf also carries several other inscriptions and signatures including "John Mitchell is a personal and more important a drinking friend of mine, Bob Riddick." The prior owner has tipped in small color illustrations of important race winners with their posted times to the verso of the dedication pages. Fine copy, clean and tight with crisp unmarked text.. Signed. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fine.
