London: John Turrill, 1834. Hardcover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Bound in black calf with blind stamped decorative border. Gilt raised bands and black spine label. Edges are rubbed. Front hinge is cracking but otherwise binding is tight. Pages are age tanned with occasional foxing. Wonderful hand coloured engravings by well known artists such as William Etty, John Martin and Benjamin Haydon. Previous owners's dedication dated 1875 on the flyleaf. A beautiful copy of this very rare book. 1834
