Good two-volume hardcover set, no dust jackets. Prior owner's name in ink and bookplate on front free endpaper, both volumes. Worn cover cloth with light fray at head and heel of spine, both volumes. Spine edges rubbed and worn as well. Volume I front hinge cracked and a few pages edge-torn and taped. Both volumes have light, neat brackets drawn in margins. Sm4to. 511, 556pp.
