George Hanson was a college librarian and book collector in Chicago, with a special passion for and scholarly interest in Iceland, and a copy of his obituary is laid in. Illustrated by Robert Hines. A book that "expresses his feelings about the haunting appeal of wilderness" with a special concentration on the territory of the Canadian border and further north through Alaska.
