Reflections, for the greater part, of in retreat from Nazi gang rage, all the while reading Italian & German dailies & in tune to radio news from France & England. Records, published 60 years after written, of four fateful years from Jan 1st, 1941 to Nov 12th, 1944 while in retreat. Strong copy w/poor dustjacket.
