Ex-library, with expected stamps at title page and endsheets, and lending pocket at rear paste down. Inscribed by Tarkington to previous owners at the second fly leaf. Beige cloth with gilt titling and decoration in black title windows, with edgewear, light to moderate soiling, rubbing to gilt at spine. Binding cracked following FFEP; intact, and else sound. Pages lightly toned, text unmarked.
