Annotated in an old hand at the top of the title page: "This Book belongs to Rhode Island Monthly Meeting of Friends." A note at the close of the Introduction refers to additions on three pages, approx. 200 words; regarding those "out of unity with friends," inspecting testimonies, and the receipt of military pensions of persons who subsequently became members. These manuscript additions are dated 1822, 1811, and 1818.l
