NY: The Century Co.. VG-. 1897. 1st Edition. Hardcover. First edition bound in green cloth with pictorial front cover and gilt decoartions. A VG- copy. The front board is faded. The book has dust spotting at its edges, rubs to the head and heel of the spine and sma ll bumps to the corners. Front hinge is loose, but the binding is tigh t. The half-title page is detached but is included. Lengthy gift inscr iption inked on the front fly. Dust spotting to the endpapers. Illust rated by C.M. Relyea. .
