Wreham John Painter, 1799. Large hardback, approx 11 x 9 inches. In full calf leather binding, diced patterend boards, blind embossed decorative edges. Gilt inner dentelles. Dark grey endpapers. In very good condition. Original leather boards with later repair to spine. Corners and edges bumped and rubbed, rubbing and marks to boards. Bookplates to front endpapers “William Henry Parry” & “Samuel Dyers Gough.” Some darkening and small marks to edges of endpapers. Some mild foxing/darkening to plates and some darkening to opposite pages. Else inside pages very clean and tight throughout. 192pp. Illustrated with 12 engraved portraits.
