About This Item
Naval Institute Press, 2010. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine in Near Fine Dust Jacket. First american printing, near fine full cloth hardcover shows a previous owner blindstamp to front endpaper, in a near fine dust jacket that shows just a hint of shelf wear. 383 pages with four sets of illustrated plates and index. Still a good looking copy of this work that "..seeks to convey the character of the seaman, from the medieval navy through to the post-Trafalgar long peace.
