B&w photographs, drawings, decorations. Contents: A Big Problem for a Young Country; Organization of the NorthWest Mounted Police; The First Winter in the Far West; Col. Macleod Commissioner; The Sitting Bull Incident; Under Sir John Again; Lord Lorne's Tour; Headquarters Removed to Regina; The Rebellion of 1885; Increase of Strength and Duties; Under the Present Commissioner; Appendix. Interior - tiny light mark on rear endpapers, otherwise clean and tight with no previous ownership marks. Exterior - light to moderate edge wear, two tiny marks on fore-edge of textblock, soft crease at top corner of covers, spine flat with very faint crease. Slipcase has light edge wear, light fading to color on edges and rear panel, top of spine label missing with the word "The" of the title.. Facsimile Reprint.. Soft Cover. Very Good -/Very Good-.
