About This Item

New York: Harper & Brothers, 1904. Book. Fine. Decorative Cloth. First Edition. Octavo, royal blue cloth covered boards with decorative embossed vellum inset, white decorative borders and corners, gilt spine titles with white decorative borders. Top edge gilt other edges untrimmed. 369 pp. (BAL 9758) A stunningly well preserved volume with brilliant royal blue cloth, bright white decorative borders and clean, unblemished vellum inset. The volume is likewise very tight, crisp, clean and apparently unread without a sign of dust or soil to edges and with a solid bright gilt top edge. A desirable copy for the Howells completist with an eye to top condition. Very Fine..
