London: HMSO, 1953 Three volume set in blue cloth on boards. Volume I "The Fight at all Odds" has lightly sunned spine. Light tanning to front and rear end papers. Foxing to folio edges. Light tanning to front and rear end papers. Volume II "The Fight Avails" has lightly sunned spine. Occasional light foxing to folio edges. FFE light tanned which has carried over to early folios. Volume III "The Fight is Won" has lightly sunned spine. Foxing to folio edges. Slight tanning to front and rear end papers. All copies free of inscriptions. Clean text with b/w plates and various maops including several fold out maps.
