W & R Chambers, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No edition remarks. 241 pages. No dust jacket. Pink cloth boards with colour illustrations on front and spine. Text contains four further illustrations by Herbert A. Bone. Binding remains firm other than the illustrated plate at p131 being partially detached. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Pen inscription to front free end paper. Top text block edge is darkened. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Slight crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
