Red hard cover with portrait of Teddy Roosevelt placed center front, over an illustration of a hunting party in a boat. Spine is faded and shaken, has an illustration of an African shield over crossed spears. Large crack near front, but binding is holding well. Frontispiece shows portrait of Roosevelt. "The fever was in the air. The general salutation when you met an acquaintance was, 'Are you going to the Klondike?'."
