Philadelphia: Edward Stern & Company, 1906. Green hardcover binding with pastedown on font as been professionally rebound - solid spine and secure and tight binding. Some rubbing at corners, previous owner name on title page, else clean interior. 1906 on title page, copyright page shows 1903 and 1906, but also has the statement Published September 1, 1906 on copyright page. 180 page, a few have small closed tears on the bottom edge, but overall a nice copy. Originally published in leading newspapers. Travels and adventures of two bears who share last name as the President Roosevelt. Beautifully illustrated in b/w throughout with 16 full page color illustrations - all are present but the frontispiece was rebound at page 74. Nice copy of scarce title in hardcover.. Illus. by Campbell, V. Floyd. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Very Good/No Jacket.
