About This Item

[ROME]. A fine series of hand colored prints, four (4) views of "Roman Ruins," so titled, and numbered 1-4 in ink in contemporary hand on versos. Each is a circular disc 4 1/2 " in diameter, hand colored, laid down on heavy laid paper, each inside an attractive identical watercolor frame, primarily of brown, with borders in pink, blue and black. Lovely objects, lovingly done, well enough to give the sense they are original watercolors.
