Publisher's full light brown cloth, brown lettering and decoration on spine and cover, top edge brown. Illustrated with numerous B&W drawings by Will Crawford, many full-page. MacKinlay Kantor (1904-1977), was an American journalist, screenwriter and novelist, writing more than thirty novels, several set during the American Civil War. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for his 1955 novel, Andersonville.. Some offsetting from original glue on endpapers, else fine; unmarked, tight, square, and clean. The unclipped dust jacket, now in Mylar, is moderately sunned at the spine and lightly browned, else fine. VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD. . B&W drawings. 12mo 7" - 7½" tall. 96 pp .
