Ochre colored cloth hardcover boards with black lettering on front cover and spine. Front cover pictorial of colonial grandfather clock in brown and black. Top of text block is gilt, deckled edges. Former owner bookplate on front endpaper. Binding sound, although front hinge is loose. some staining and age toning to FFE. Text clean. The author has gathered material for this volume from manuscripts and genealogical records from the collection of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania that were available at the time. An important historical work. Mylar protected.
