Lugduni [Lyons]: Ex officina Hug. a Porta, sumptibus Joan De Gabiano, 1609-01-01. Hardcover. Acceptable. 4to. Full contemporary sheep (early 18th century?) binding. Corners bumped and extremities worn. Hinges cracked, but joints holding. All edges red. Engraved title in red and black. Numerous engraved plates. Faint, marginal dampstaining. [32], 600, [152] p., [2] folding plates. Early signature of Nyol de L'Allie on title. L'Allie was an early Professor of French in Maryland (landing in Annapolis in 1763). He taught French at St. John's College in Maryland until his death in 1802. This book was acquired in Baltimore. Editio ultima, omnium, quae hactenus prodierunt tersisima.
