About This Item
Los Angeles: Paramount Pictures, 1953. Two vintage studio still photographs taken on the 1953 film, one showing director William Wyler and a camera crew capturing scenes with Audrey Hepburn, and one showing Wyler talking with Hepburn as she prepares to have her hair cut for her role. One photograph with a mimeo snipe on the verso.
From the archive of film historian and author Joel Finler.
Arguably Wyler's finest and most deftly directed film, simultaneously melancholy, funny, philosophical, and heartwarming. Winner of three Academy Awards, including Best Actress, and nominated for seven others.
Set and shot on location in Rome.
10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus, lightly toned.
National Film Registry.
