Ward Lock,, [1937]. 4to., with mounted coloured frontispiece, 7 fine mounted coloured plates, 32 plates in monochrome and 8 diagrams in the text, some very light occasional spotting; original green cloth, upper board and backstrip lettered in black, a remarkably bright, firm copy. Bright copy of a classic text, first published in 1929 by the former supervisor of the rock garden at Kew.
