Patterned cloth over boards with burgundy titles on spine and upper board. Text block edges, preliminary pages and ending pages are foxed. Some additional light foxing on the margins of some pages. Dust jacket has some edge wear, more so at the corners and spine ends. Spine slightly faded. The flaps and the reverse side are foxed. Price clipped. Illustrated with eight colour plates and black and white drawings in the text. One of the Dent Children's Illustrated Classics series. .
