Frost, (1874-1963), although born in San Francisco, is best remembered for his verse dealing with New England life and character. He received the Pulitzer Prize in 1924, 1931, 1937, and 1943, for respectively: NEW HAMPSHIRE, (in which my favorite, Stopping By Woods On a Snowy Evening appears); COLLECTED POEMS; A FURTHER RANGE; and A WITNESS TREE..
