About This Item

Number 6 of 65 copies, folio size, [32] pp., signed by both authors, with prospectus. A collection of twenty prose poems written by two prominent poets of New Mexico. John Brandi (b. 1943) is an American poet and artist, known for poetry about traveling the American West. A beautiful, collaborative homage to the people, places and history encountered in Chiapas.

The book was designed by Monica Meehan, graphic designer for the Museum of New Mexico; its title page features a glyph created by calligrapher and Mayanist Mark Van Stone, Tom Leech and James Bourland printed the book from polymer plates, and Santa Fe bookbinder Rosalia Galassi completed the binding.
