Dust Jacket has small closed tears, but otherwise complete and overall sound.. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing. The book has been read and carries some marks and creases. This book is available and ready to be shipped.. Frank Boswood Lacy, born in New Zealand, came to the Kimberleys in 1923 and worked as a drover; account of Forrest River Mission, Munja Aboriginal Settlement and Mount Elizabeth Station; details of Aboriginal culture and work in cattle industry. New Zealand born Lacy worked on the Forrest River Mission (c 1924-1944); trecked from Broome to Wyndham; did the last Mule Pack Royal Mail run from Fitzroy Crossing & Halls Creek (1937); mustered along the Ord River basin; drove cattle to Katherine and ran the Mt Elizabeth Station (from 1946).
