This is a 1950 revised edition of a 1944 original. 8vo. 250 pages including detailed index. Well illustrated throughout with excellent black and white photographic plates + a fine multi folding map at the rear. Page edges are very faintly foxed. Previous owner's label on front end paper. In original rich green buckram gilt hard cover binding. Very Good++ in dust wrapper which is attractive and worth keeping but is a little chewed at the rear and a bit scuffed near the spine at the front. Good+.
