New York: The MacMillan Company, 1927. 2nd Edition . Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. xii + 199 pp., b/w photos. Neihardt's boat trip on the Missouri & Yellowstone Rivers originally written during the winter of 1908 & published in 1910. This is a first printing of the illustrated, new edition of 1927. Green cloth w/ red & black stamping to the front cover & spine of the hard cover book in v.g. or better cond. The price-clipped parchment like d/w is also in v.g. or better cond. There are two slightly discolored areas on the front end papers that look like some sort of paper had been laid in but is now gone. Booksellers label on rear attached end paper.
